ASHLEA REDDING
Ashlea Redding has a strong commitment to the ranching way of life and agriculture in general. She grew up horseback on the North End of the Padlock Ranch east of Hardin, Montana where her dad was the ranch foreman. When she was 14 he took over management of a large registered cattle operation and she was introduced to bull sales, artificial insemination and international clients.
After obtaining an A.S. in Agriculture from Northwest College and a B.S. in Communications from Montana State University-Billings she became an Ag broadcaster for the Northern Ag Network relaying current news and market information to producers in a 6 state region. She has worked with two state cattle associations representing their members on issues from the local to the international level and has served on several national organizational committees.
Upon moving to Wyoming in 2004, she worked with Buffalo Creek Red Angus maintaining herd records, working with customers and organizing production sales. Today, in addition to working with Chase Brothers Properties, she works for the Northern Wyoming Community College District, is a freelance Ag broadcaster, creates marketing materials for various businesses and is involved in such organizations as Wyoming CattleWomen, Wyoming Agri-Women and American Agri-Women.
